High and Mighty OOTD 2/4/14

So I recently ordered my new morning tide collection from my e-boutique (click here to check it out!) and just had to rock it (you know how that be).  I also ordered some pants from Alloy Apparel.  I like the pants because they are high waisted and skinny.  After ordering I was informed that they ran a bit on the larger side, and after about a day of wear I'm getting the saggy booty/crotch look.  its all good though, because I'm going to order the size 13 and see how those work out.  I like the wash and cut, but the whiskering (aka the lines that highlight my crotch) is a bit much.  On the plus side they do come in other colors, so no fear.  OH! and the material is sturdy not that light stuff that will pill in your crotch after a wear.....

Monday Blues OOTD 2/3/14

So while I was in Target yesterday shopping for other things, I came across this cute top in the Mossimo section for about $20.  I love that it is has asymmetrical layers with the burst of blue.  Plus its loose and hides my "I'm so not feeling fly "today.  On occasion i think Target does hit the mark when it comes to fashion. What are your thoughts?

Pearls and Chambray OOTD 1/28/14

yea I did it, finally did it. I broke down a bought a chambray shirt……I scooped it up while at Old navy the other day. it actually the men’s skinny and it fits pretty great across the bust (not so much the hips if ya know what I mean). Also today is the first day of the spring semester, so I guess you could say that this is my school outfit. I think I might have found a new photographer…….
How do you feel about chambray?

Brunch at Oxford kitchen

So yesterday the BF and I went down to Atlantic term for some errands and decided to grab a bite to eat.  I've walked past this place and have made a mental note to check it out.  Oxford Kitchen is located at the crazy 5 way where Fulton, Lafayette, Hansen Pl and another street all meet up.  So in we went (me being sold on chicken and waffles...) and grabbed a table.  There was only one server who seemed indifferent about creating engagement due to being out all night. However the mimosas were B1G1 along with bloody marys or even a cucumber Bellini. We opted for mimosas, the BF ordered a prosciutto and egg sandwich and I the chicken a pumpkin and sage waffles. His was more like an open face ham and egg and my chicken was like breaded chicken strips.  The home fries were WELL seasoned and had some heat, it seemed to be the same seasoning that was used on my chicken.  The waffles were served with a maple butter and maple syrup. Initially there was no coffee, but half way through the waiter came by and asked if we wanted a cup.  It was delish (maybe its because i had nasty soy creamer that morning) and we spoke on things that couple do.  If your around stop in and check it out, overall 3 out of 5 forks.
