A quick note

I haven't done this in awhile so thanks to everyone that's following me or ever made a comment. I appreciate it. Also sorry about the lack of posts but I haven't been feeling on top of my game and well I made a bet for no shopping this month. I mean who writes fashion blog then makes bet not to shop smh lol. I have learned that yes I do buy a lot of random crap and should focus more on key pieces. So I've been making my list and checking it twice lol. Adding Accessories

So I know that I mention how accessories are a great way to incorporate trends and style into your wardrobe without doing a complete overhaul. Here are some fun and interesting pieces that will make your outfit pop regardless of if it’s a board meeting or dinner with the ladies. Another thing that I have noticed is that razor blades and ear cuffs are making a comeback. Now I didn’t like them 15 years ago and I still find the idea strange, but if that is your thing then hey have fun with it! Remember style is an extension of you and it’s the way to tell people what you are about with a glance, then what not start a conversation? While some of these pieces are on the pricier side (my wallet cries) you can usually find knockoffs at almost any retailer and H&M, Forever 21 and Zara are great starting points. Thursday whites OOTD 4/18/13

So in staying with the weather is getting warmer idea, I dedicated to bust out my white pants. Going to the gym last night also helped lol. I also am including a picture of the shoes I wear to work and yes I am one of those lol.

Orange you glad it's Wednesday?

Hahahaha sometime I amuse myself (case in point the title), so here is today's outfit. Since I've been in a bit of a funk I decided to go bright and bold in the hopes my overall demeanor improves, it worked. Also i have to give props to my photographer but we need to work on non blurry shots lol. So here is today's outfit

So last night after work I was on the hunt for dumplings, and after using my awesome Ness app found a place. Well long and short the place wasn't open but I passed this small spot along the way. It's located on E 26th and Lexington ave. walking in I was on a sensory trip back to Taiwan, it had that same smell. I ordered the chicken bun and vegetable spring rolls. Overall it was good and the freshness of the food was great. However my only issue was the chicken which wasn't really to my liking, but hey that's part of the fun. Portion sizes were decent and I was full half way through. It's a small space with limited seating but seems to be a fave spot with the students at Baruch. Overall 3 put of 5 forks.
